I have another account with PRA (MBNA), they said its unenforceable, I owe £3,364.75 but they said i could pay £1,185 f&f. I know its unenforceable but its my debt, I am going to hang on a bit longer to see if they reduce it more.  :)
You could always make them a lower offer if that's what you wanted to do. Although as they've admitted it's unenforceable, you might have better uses for your money

terlou5881 I was paying them £1 pm for 14 months - I emailed them offering settlement figure. I told them I have money gifted to me &  that I dont need to pay back.

fatbelly thanks, I am going to make them a lower offer & see what happens. I am looking to remortgage in the future and would rather my credit file showing £0 credit than having the amount owed.

I have just paid another debt off - Hitachi. One more to go then I'm debt free! Capital One are being awkward and won't take any sort of setlement offer so I'm going to carry on with the £1 per month. Any advice regarding Capital One would be great - its enforceable. :)
