Moneyworrier, best of luck with your offer that's fantastic that you only have the one left. I would suggest starting to negotiate at 30% if you're wanting to make a full and final offer of 50%, there will probably be some back and forth. 

Thanks. That seems to be the advice im getting. For £8K Owed im willing to go to £5K which is around 60% so gives me a little wiggle room but i will start at the 30% and see where it goes.

Just out of interest, how does having a partial settlement affect your credit file?

All the partial settlements were added to my credit record at the start of Feb. 

My credit score has gone up by 33 points. Having accounts marked as closed must be better than having accounts with no arrangements set for years.
