just watched Rick Stein make a fish stew with all fish ingredients caught in what he calls the cornish atlantic. so nice and nothing goes to waste. just wondering if I make that,(maybe not quite the same!), if I make it and have enough for 1, can I freeze the rest. opinions please. no rush.

That question is more for the nice folk on the Old Style board upstairs.
If it was a source for the ingredients you were looking for then this is the place for that.0 -

If the fish has been previously frozen, is that something to be careful of when re-freezing?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

yeh I was wondering that actually. if I make it I want to do it in the slow cooker. we have a fish market here in the week, so could probably go there and get everything I need.0

Have you changed the fish in that it was frozen raw, then its cooked?richardw said:If the fish has been previously frozen, is that something to be careful of when re-freezing?
If yes it's perfectly fine.
Here's a link to the nhs website that should confirm

Here's the bit you need, but the whole article is very informative
""You can cook frozen meat and fish once defrosted, and then refreeze them"""
