re: Calculate Widows Pension
I was born in 1939. My wife was born in1936.
I want to know what state pension my wife would receive shoud I die tomorrow.
In 2015 the DWP eventually (after 3 enquiry letters) came up with the following figures:
100% of my Basic State Pension = £115.95 (2015 -2016 figure)
90% of my Pre-97 additional pension = £123.91
50% of my Post-97 additional pension = £0.81
50% of my Graduated Retirement Pension = £4.32
LESS 50% of my Pre-1988 Guaranteed Minimum Pension = minus £53.16
PLUS her own Graduated Pension = £0.13
Total payable £191.96
There was no mention of a limit.
Can I apply the same percentages to my current pension?0 -

Rules relating to those who reached SPA pre 6/4/2016 can be seen from p23.
The percentages have not changed.

It appears from what you have said that your wife has no Additional State Pension in her own right?1
