Hi,
My partner and myself have been declined by 3 companies- 2 high street and 1 adverse.
Can anyone advise a good adverse MA?
We are in Scotland, looking for £180,000 and have about 15% deposit.
My credit file is perfect but his isn’t - credit card missed payments but clear for at least 24 months. We had a previous mortgage- just settles when we sold with a high street bank for 11 years with one missed payment in 2015( paid week after due).
help please x

We need a lot more information to understand why you were declined.
How much do you both owe?
Are either of you ever overdrawn?
How many credit searches do you each have recorded against you in the last year?
Are you both employed on a permanent, salaried basis?
Are you asking to borrow under 4.5x your guaranteed fixed annual income?
Does your partner have any defaults, CCJs or insolvencies in his past?
Has he been (or is he currently in) any arrangements with lenders?
Are you both registered to vote?
Have either of you moved address, switched bank, or changed employer in the last year?0 -
Doesn't seem enough for three declines. Which lenders?
What kind of residence and employment histories? Three years in current job and home for each of you?I am a mortgage broker.
