Pension 8 years after discharge.

Good morning all,
I will be turning 55 next month and intend to start drawing down a small pension and/or maybe take a small tax free lump sum
I was BR in 2012 and fully discharged 12 months later. Absolutely all debt was included in my BR, and was also informed by the OR that they had no interest in my personal pension. Whilst talking to Prudential about planning to start drawing my pension next month, I was asked if I had ever been bankrupt, which of course I said yes and gave her the details. I was informed that before anything could commence re my pension, she had to get information from the IS to see if they would have any interest in my pension.
Now I'm worried. As I said, I was told by the OR during BR they had no interest - this little pension would be a huge help to me in these difficult times.
So, can they touch my pension 8 years after discharge?
Thank you.
