High street banks who accept mortgage applications with 3 year old default

Hi everyone,
This is my first thread so I hope I have everything in order. Grateful for any advice if not. 

I have a default registered against me for a credit card I had with RBS back in October 2017. The amount was £1700 and I went in to a payment plan and the balance has been settled since May 2020. 

My partner has a mortgage with Santander and we now want to move to a bigger property and put myself on the mortgage too. 

Can anyone please advise me if any high street banks would accept us with my 3 year old default please? And if so who? 

Our reports are otherwise squeaky clean and we have a good deposit. Looking to buy in £300,000 property region with £100,000 deposit so loan £200,000 mortgage. 

I’m not against other lenders if anyone knows any please advise away I just want the best rate we can get and not be penalised.

I would recommend speaking to a local broker who can go through everything with you. There maybe a couple of lender that may consider you especially with the size of deposit you are putting down.
