Is this a legitimate site. I checked when its was registered on whois and it was only registered on 11/01/2021. It said I won a free apple laptop for a pound. I think it must be a scam. But I checked again as it appeared on the top of https://www.hindustantimes.com/ to do a survey. Trouble is to get the prize it wants your credit card. I looked to see some more. It appears to be related to a company called world-of-rewards.com which is based in Panama. Today it said I won a Samsung phone for £2. Its just my elderly mother who uses an Apple laptop and would quite like a new one was almost taken in by the offer. I suppose I could test it out by putting loading £2 on a prepaid visa card and then see if its legit of not.

Laptop and then a phone - how lucky are you!!! Tell them instead of sending you the phone and laptop keep the phone (to cover the costs of send the laptop) and just send you the laptop for free. Not really, just delete and ignore so you are not confirming they have a live e-mail address, (preparing to switch e-mail addresses if necessary as once you are on a spam list you may will get others as your details are sold on.)

If it's too good to be true then it is surely not true! Don't touch it with a barge pole.

Its not in an email. Its on the https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news web site. This is a perfectly legit website and I checked on my other laptop and I have no malware or redirect found. Still I am not going for it cause for sure its too good to be true.mjm3346 said:Laptop and then a phone - how lucky are you!!! In that case it sounds like the old "congratulations you are the 1,000,000th visitor to this site etc" scamwizzards said:
