BTL Brokers advice (tax overview)

Simple questions to the seasoned brokers on here (or if individual had similar situation in past).... if one was to apply for a BTL mortgage in February and on 2020 tax overview when provided to lender, the tax due for 19/20 was still outstanding , would lender demand this paid before carrying on with BTL application? I think with residential purchases, I have heard lenders ask for any overdue tax debts to be paid before carrying on but I’m not too sure on lenders position with BTL on this? Advice, past experience and comments appreciated 👍
