Mortgage with Adverse

Morning. Myself and my partner had a 20% deposit ready for a house purchase in July. However the house sale fell through so back to the scratching board.
I’m wondering if there is any 10% mortgages around for people with adverse history?
I have 2 defaults but more than 24 months old, and also a history of payday loans. Last one taken out nearly 24 months ago.

I'm no mortgage broker but I think you'll struggle with 10%
I had a 4 year old default and a lot of payday loan usage as in 17 in a year due to falling into the cycle that payday loans create. The last one was 6 months before my mortgage application.
Amazingly we managed to get a high street mortgage as I was convinced we'd need an adverse lender but we had a 25% deposit and our MA said that would have made the difference.
We also had nothing on our credit cards, earn over 70k between us and the only active credit was car finance.
We also went for less than we could borrow to be on the safe side.0 -
Someone on here mentioned Aldermore, they are not a lender I use or really like anymore (I used to love them). Might be worth a look with them but if the defaults are satisfied (and have been for 6-12 months) and you can stretch to 15%, you might be able to get normal rates.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
