OFFICIAL PRIZE PROMOTION RULES

HOW TO ENTER: The Prize Promotion will run on https://zaphod.vvhp.net/vvreg/27837-776569.html?t=1609946667(“Entry Application”). No purchase is necessary to enter or win the Prize Promotion but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to local charges depending on their own individual arrangements for internet access.  The Prize Promotion will begin on 11th January 2021 at 9:00 AM GMT and the deadline for receipt of entry is 13th February 2020 at 11:59 PM GMT (the “Entry Period”).

To enter the Prize Promotion you must, before the Entry Period ends, complete the required information fields (marked with an Asterix) on the Entry Application and click ‘Enter’.   All eligible entries will be entered into the prize draw (the “Entry”/”Entries”) and by entering the Prize Promotion you will become an “Entrant”.

Entrants must have a valid email address. The details provided by the Entrant in their Entry will be the identity of the Entrant and, if selected for the Prize, the identity of the Winner. The use of a bogus name or email address will disqualify an Entrant. There is a limit of 1 (one) entry per person as described in the Entry Application. All Entries become the property of UMC, a division of Universal Music Operations Ltd (“UMC”). By entering the Prize Promotion, Entrant consents to UMC’s collection of the personal information in accordance with UMC’s privacy policy (found at http://www.umusic.co.uk/privacy.html). All Entrants agree to abide by these rules. Entries may be rejected in the sole discretion of UMC, including for reasons of obscenity, defamation or invasion of privacy.

ELIGIBILITY: This Prize Promotion is open to residents of the UK only aged 18 or over.  UMC reserves the right to request proof of age for entrants. UMC reserves the right to reject and refuse Entrants and ultimate Winners of the Prize, entry to the Prize event if valid proof of such parent, parent guardian or companion is not accepted by UMC. Employees (and their immediate families or household members) of UMC, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents are not eligible to enter this Prize Promotion.

UMC and its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents are not responsible for any lost, late illegible, incomplete, postage due, misdirected or mutilated mail, any electronic miscommunications or failures, technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable connections, or failed incomplete, garbled or delayed computer or mobile phone transmissions which may limit Entrant’s ability to participate in the Prize Promotion. 

SELECTION: All eligible Entries will be entered into the prize draw and one (1) prize winner will be selected at random after the Prize Promotion closing date (the “Winner”). The Winner will be notified by email by a UMC representative within fifteen (15) days of the Entry Period closing. To claim the prize, the Winner must respond by email and provide all the requested information necessary for UMC to facilitate the prize where such failure to respond within 48 hours may be considered Winner’s forfeiture of the Prize and an alternate winner may be selected from the pool of eligible Entries (“Winner Notification”).  

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received. All decisions of UMC are final and binding on the Entrants in all respects. Prize will be awarded within twenty (20) days after each Winner’s verification. UMC will cover any relevant delivery costs of the Prize provided that the delivery address is a UK address.

Prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize value is approximately ninety pounds (£90). Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable. No substitutions are permitted except by UMC who reserves the right to award another prize for one of comparable or greater value if the prize is unavailable. If applicable, any federal, territorial, local sales and income taxes or other expenses relating to the use, acceptance and possession of prize are the Winner’s sole responsibility. Entrants acknowledge that UMC and all other businesses concerned with this Prize Promotion and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for, any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of a prize except that each merchandise prize shall be subject to any applicable manufacturer’s standard warranties.

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RELEASES: An Entrant or Winner may be disqualified from the Prize Promotion if he or she fails to comply with these official rules, as determined in the sole discretion of UMC. Unless prohibited by law, Entry constitutes permission to use Winner’s names and likenesses in all media for publicity purposes without any further compensation. By entering or accepting a prize in the Prize Promotion, Entrants/Winner agrees to be bound by these Official Prize Promotion Rules and to conform to all laws and regulations.

By entering, Entrants, Winners and persons accompanying the Winner, agree to release and hold harmless UMC, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives from any damage, injury, death, loss, claim, action, demand or other liability that may arise from their acceptance and/or use of prize or their participation in this promotion, or from any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded. 

For the avoidance of doubt, UMC is not responsible for: 

1) failed, returned or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner on entry; and

 2) entries, and responses to winner notifications which are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient in whole or in part or for computer, mobile phone or technical error of any kind; and

 3) the failure of any third party to comply with the instructions and proper administration of this Prize Promotion.

UMC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Prize Promotion should a virus, ‘bug’ or other cause beyond UMC control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Prize Promotion. UMC reserves the right to modify the rules of the Prize Promotion in any way or at any time. These Official Prize Promotion Rules and this Prize Promotion shall be governed by English law and by entering the Prize Promotion all entrants agree that all disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Courts of Justice.
