Occupiers Consent Form

I am in the process of buying a house and I am getting close to exchange/completion. My mortgage broker told me my boyfriend who will be living in the property will need to sign an occupiers consent form from the mortgage lender.
When would I expect to be sent this for my boyfriend to sign? I am getting close to exchange and have signed my mortgage deed but realised I haven’t received the form for my boyfriend to sign.
many help would be appreciated.

If it hasn't been asked for yet, it should be requested as part of the conveyancing, might be worth checking with the solicitor. Or else, for most lenders it's a standard form and available on their website, you could just fill it and send a scanned copy across.

Thank you, I’ll ask him on Monday if it can be sent to me as I can’t seem to find it on Halifax.

So my Solicitor said it should have arrived with my Mortgage offer so he thinks the Lender may not have been notified my boyfriend will be living there.
I have contacted my Mortgage Advisor so hopefully she can sort it and it won't delay anything.0 -
I spoke to my Mortgage Advisor today and it turns out she didn't let the lender know and it was a mistake on their part.K_S said:If it hasn't been asked for yet, it should be requested as part of the conveyancing, might be worth checking with the solicitor. She is going to contact them and let them know but do you think this could have affect on my offer that they have given me?0 -
