Need to know more about Laser eye surgery. Please share some experiences

This is for my younger sibling, his name is Alex and he utilizes specs from his educational time onwards. Presently, he is doing master's in design. Presently the specs are making appalling in his activities, particularly in his examination activities. So we counselled an eye specialist, and he advised Laser eye surgery. So his vision will be clear without the specs. So we chose to do that treatment. Be that as it may, we are unaware of these treatment methods. What are the treatment strategies? It would be ideal if you share your assessment, which will be useful.

I'd have expected the eye specialist to explain procedures, success rates etc with your brother.

I have had SLT for raised pressure.  Absolutely wonderful in all aspects.  No experience of other laser treatments.

I had LASIK in 2013 due to being short sighted and having worn glasses since I was 11 years old. Absolutely brilliant and the best thing I have ever done.
