Hello
I have been self employed in addition to PAYE for several years but this tax year I have been entirely self employed as a Nurse.  I work on average 30 hours per week and stay overnight one night.

I claim my uniform, mileage and I understand I can claim some meals?  Is there a flat rate I can claim as I am away always more than 10 hours per day or do i have to list every single receipt?

Capital cost of vehicle purchase/replacement, or a proportion thereof? It might not apply in this tax year, but will do at some future point.

Personally, for a self-employed nurse, I would be recommending claiming mileage rather than this option.
