Hi there. New to the forum.just thought I’d relate my experience so far.
I submitted my application and paid the fee Friday 8th Jan, got email Monday 11th to say it was approved.
Had a phone call from OR this morning asking if it was ok to do the interview over phone there and then. Caught me on the hop a bit but I wasn’t going to say no. I must say it was a lot less stressful than I imagined, the guy was very pleasant and it lasted for about 30 mins.
Im self employed and business has suffered greatly over last yr, mainly Covid related. We chatted about my work van and equipment which he was happy to let me keep. He has asked to see my business income from April 2020 to now and will use that to assess any IPA.My income has been poor to the extent I only just cover outgoings with my misses helping out. So hopefully no IPA as there will be zero surplus .
All in all a pleasant experience as I was expecting a bit of a grilling 😧
Have to say the info on this forum has been invaluable and helped me make the decision to commit.

Thank you for sharing. I am considering bankruptcy and it's good to hear other people's experiences. All the best with your fresh start and I hope your business picks up again once the COVID crisis is eventually over.0
