Debt Free Diary 2021

Made some more money selling bits and pieces I cleared out again online this month.
Car insurance was due, and paid in full for the year, used MSEs job checker tool and reduced my mileage on my policy and saved just over £60, so well worth doing if yours is coming up for renewal.
As of July 2021 my total debts are……CC1 2770 @ 0% until November 2021
CC2 1530 @ 0% until May 2022
CC3 3580 @ 0% until September 2022
Overpayment Fund - £1800 Christmas Fund - £450 Emergency Pot - £300 Car Pot - £0 Insurance Paid for the year.
Additional Earnings Pot - £2810
Additional Earnings
Surveys - £10
Selling - £900
Used a small amount £15 from my additional earnings pot to top up my car pot to cover the annual insurance.
I have decided to just sit on the additional earnings pot, and let the overpayment pot take care of the credit cards as planned as I’m in no need of additional credit at the moment and in no rush to get them paid off quicker than the original plan.
I may continue the Car pot to cover the MOT later in the year (1st one) so hoping no major issues and if it sails through at least I’ll have a head start on next years insurance.
No Spend Days - 8Easy month to not overspend with the lockdown extension and all.
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful month one and all.

The clear out has continued, and I've sold more items online, old band and concert t shirts from the 80s/90s originals, seem to go for a good amount I've found, as do some harder to find books that I've had for a while gathering dust. If you sell books online do make sure you charge enough to cover postage, as the weight of them can make it quite pricey.
I have even taken to picking things up in charity shops and turning a small profit on them by selling them online, my best so far £1 purchase sold for £24!
I won't let it go to my head though and make any plans to travel into space just yet.
As of August 2021 my total debts are……CC1 2740 @ 0% until November 2021
CC2 1505 @ 0% until May 2022
CC3 3540 @ 0% until September 2022
Overpayment Fund - £2100 Christmas Fund - £500 Emergency Pot - £350 Car Pot - £50
Additional Earnings Pot - £3415
Additional Earnings
Surveys - £5
Selling - £600
I am still sitting on the additional earnings pot, but it's done my mental health wonders knowing I have an amount there that can clear a good chunk of the CCs when or if needed.
The overpayment pot is still building and it is on track to take care of the credit cards as planned.
I decided to continue with the Car pot to cover the MOT later in the year. It will be the 1st one so if there is nothing major needed I’ll have a head start on next years insurance.
No Spend Days - 12Had plenty of essentials in at home and the rainy weather made stay at home days a lot easier, which made for a fairly cheap month.
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful month one and all!

Cleared out some more bits to sell online this month, and a rental investment I made some time ago has started to turn a profit for me. I've used the first months to clear quite a chunk of my CCs.
I'm not including the monthly income figure here, as I'm planning on using this income to get another rental and so on and so on, however it does all help with the pots and the CCs should I need so extra income of course.
As of September 2021 my total debts are……
CC1 375 @ 0% until November 2021
CC2 700 @ 0% until May 2022
CC3 3540 @ 0% until September 2022
Overpayment Fund - £2400 Christmas Fund - £550 Emergency Pot - £400 Car Pot - £100
Additional Earnings Pot - £3915
Additional Earnings
Surveys - £0
Selling - £500
I've been pretty slack with the surveys this month, lost interest a bit, and have been away most of the month so not glued to laptop/phone but will start again this month.
No Spend Days - 3
Was away on holidays and had some big family celebrations this month so No Spend Days were a no no unfortunately.
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful month one and all!
