in Cutting tax
I recently sat my Class 2 and Class 1 training and my CPC training. I've read some bits that make me wonder can I claim back some tax on the cost of the 3 sets of training?

Self employed people can claim training, but not if it is necessary to put you in a position to start your self employment. See:

It's even harder to claim such costs as an employee.1 -
in basic terms getting a C and CE added to your licence will be disallowed as it means you are starting a new direction in life with a new qualification to enable you to do so.
Same applies to your first CPC. However any subsequent CPC you can then claim tax relief on its cost as you are then undertaking "refresher" training for (sometimes referred to as "maintaining") your existing qualification, not getting a new one.1 -
