Where can I find out what my father's state pension is made up of?

Hi guys, hope you're well at this time (sorry, that's the habit of seeing all my incoming work emails
)
I'm trying to find out what makes up the value of my father's state pension.
I know he's on state pension, and attendance allowance, but I'd like to get to the very bottom of what else makes up his monthly payment from the Department of Work and Pensions. Dad's not good at keeping paperwork, and it's something I need to start managing for him more effectively.
Any advice on who to call in the first instance or an internet reference guide would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

This is probably your best option https://www.gov.uk/contact-pension-service . Mind you unless you suspect a mistake (extremely unlikely) then there is nothing for you to 'manage' .Rob

Are your Dad's benefits paid into his bank account?Payments from DWP are shown as 'NI number and then letters to indicate what the payment is for.SP = State pensionAA = Attendance AllowancePC = Pension CreditWFP = winter fuel paymentetc etc1

Have you checked your father's paperwork to see whether he has kept his annual statement of increase in his state pension?
It would probably have arrived last March (although I recall a poster mentioning that her parent's letter had arrived in February) and will show how his state pension is made up.
Otherwise, he'll be getting another around the same time this year.
Had your father considered granting you LPA?
