Hello
Me and my pregnant partner are moving house, we’re not worried about affording the payments of our mortgage but I do have one question.
my partner is pregnant when we applied for the mortgage, we’ve had our mortgage offer but we haven’t moved yet. It’s looking like the baby will be here before we actually move.
Will there be any implications as we didn’t mention we were expecting when we applied for mortgage? It’s been a long process.
Any information would be appreciated!

I'd be amazed if there were any implications. I don't recall ever answering questions about family intentions when applying for a mortgage. My wife was pregnant when looking for our previous house but the mortgage company were never informed and we ended up moving a couple of months after the birth. But that was back in the 90s and from what I've read since mortgage companies seem very picky these days.
It was a mad time really - I bought a new house without selling the old one, the new mortgage didn't cover the full purchase cost so we had to borrow extra from family (as an interest-paying loan), then wifey only returned to work part time, nursery fees started rolling in and the following year my employer went into administration!
But it all worked out in the end and I can even smile about it in hindsight0
