I had a ccj that due to come off this year which was for a previous catalog bill and also two defaults for telecomes there were three years ago, all paid off and satisfied.

Hi, I had a default on my credit file and a bad credit score I was told by one mortgage broker it would be impossible for me to get a mortgage I was determined so I approached another! He got me a mortgage within a month with Coventry building society and the lender paid the broker we didn’t have to pay him ourselves! I think if they are settled and were long enough ago (from what I’ve seen) you have a better chance

We have just secured a mortgage with the Halifax and I have a settled CCJ from 2015. We have no other adverse though.

Find a broker with experience of adverse applications. There are a couple on here.

The score is only seen by you, your history is whats important.
    Congrats on the mortgage.
