This is done by advising employers to amend the code operating specific to the letter following the code number.

When the budget statement was made in Autumn the new codes could be issued with the new PA as it was known.
When the budget was only in March the changes were not known until then and changes were made in June.
The Autumn Budget was cancelled last year so any change can only be made in the March budget.
There is no information if there will be change or not but just because the codes issued at present don't have any increase does not mean there cannot be one.1
