Hi a relative of mine opened a personal injury claim with a solicitor a few months ago after a fall. It was a fairly minor injury but they were sore for a while. The case is in progress however at a fairly early stage. The solicitor has only recently requested medical records from my realtive's GP as far as I'm aware. My relative feels a lot better they are asking me if what kind of solicitor fees would they be looking at if they decided to terminate the claim? And not take it any further?

£200 per hr as a minimum. I don't see why they should be able to ask the  solicitor to confirm their hourly rate and how many hours have been spent on the case so far.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.
