Hi,
Can you recommend any mortgage companies that ignore telecoms CCJ? I found Bluestone but are there any others?
Thanks

They are the only ones I am aware of, but some will ignore any defaults over 12 months old or under a certain amount.
Try a broker, there are a number of ways to get past something. I have a CCJ from a payday loan and got a mortgage offer with precise.1

Just to echo the above, don't just hunt around on your own, you may find someone who will give you a mortgage, but you will probably not find the best interest rate without help from a broker who specialises in adverse lending...

Thanks everyone.
We will be using a broker- just waiting until end of March to make sure Christmas spends/ Boxing Day betting is off our bank statements. I’m just curious as desperate to buy. My credit is excellent however my husband’s isn’t
I thought I’d ask rather than pestering our mortgage broker all the time
Thanks again

We are currently with them and are just coming up to the end of our fixed rate. They have been a great stepping stone for us to secure our dream house with adverse history.
We have just been accepted for a remortgage onto high Street rates (still with one satisfied CCJ) after two years with Kensington.

Thanks, I've been looking at them. Currently they only have 80% LTV (not sure if they offer higher LTV pre covid?) We are looking at 15% deposit but could stretch to 20% if we waited a few months longer.RelievedSheff said:

The CCJ is only just 2 years old. I'm hoping we can do a 2 years fix, once it is 4 years we could be accepted by a high street lender0
