Yet another credit score/ mortgage question sorry

Options
Hi All,
So over Christmas we got new broadband, a data contract and bought a phone on finance which we paid off immediately (to take advantage of an offer). This has hit my credit score by -210... wow. However I accept these were our choices.
Fast forward and we decided to buy a new house.
Saturday I spoke to our existing mortgage provider and after a lengthy phone call we had a decision in principle - accept. They performed a soft credit check. We will be keeping the mortgage with them, just add a new loan to existing.
We have now been told we will have another call this Friday with a mortgage broker where we will undergo a hard credit check.
My query is not will this affect my credit score (I know it will) but would we potentially be rejected for a mortgage now?
TIA

So first thing as I say ALLLLL the time on here... Ignore the score!
Secondly, yes, there is a chance it could still decline. But companies use an internal scoring system (not the score you see) and as someone who is an existing customer you would like to think it would take a lot more than 2-3 credit checks to stop you getting a mortgage with them.

Thanks. We have been with them for 13 years and never missed a payment, never asked for payment holiday etc. Hopefully that stands in our favour.
