    Read my post.

I said I service the debt by making money betting......if I had been making that kind of money I wouldn't have been in this mess to begin with.

Must do is a hard master....and I had to find a way to survive, even if only in the short term.

Wow, what a crazy thread! To answer your original question, no there is no-one you can complain to about the rise in your CC interest rate except the CC company itself, as you've already done. Unfortunately, they are quite within their rights to increase the APR. As you've said, £15 a month is in the scheme of things, small potatoes.

My dh has one of those stupid mnba cards, he owed just under 6k and was paying around £110 pcm which to use was a big wack, anyway we put the card into one of those spread sheets where you can see how long its going to take to pay the card off at the min payment... 2060!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 was the ansewer, we ahve just taken out a bank loan to pay off everything in one go, makes life simpler in my book and now the cc will be gone for good, the loan is over 5 years, so should have the cc well and truly paid off by 2010 only 50 years early!
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!

I also had an MBNA card. They are very happy to lend out shed loads of money, I am paying back mt debt after they got a debt recovery company, in fact they sold the debt I think.

Anyone who reads this is probably at least knee deep in debt so I guess most can relate to where your coming from.

From my point of view you have to just get on with repaying or declare your self bankrupt. BUT thats something to really think about and I am not suggesting you do it, but I nearly did. I only had £57k + car loan (of £26k) which is now down to £20k! Thats 5 years on.
