Get your self on the debt free wannabe page to get that debt paid off. Holidays can wait espcially in this current climate. Your sons can save to drive if they really wanted to. They will have to learn about money somehow and Pkus tjey will have to budget for car maintence and running costs.
Mortgage free wannabe
Actual mortgage stating amount £75,150
Overpayment paused to pay off cc
Starting balance £66,565.45
Current balance £56099

Thanks everyone.... I think. Wow. Some pretty judgmental replies there. yes I know there's a lockdown right now. And yes, my son's need cars. Not that was anything to do with the advice requested. And whilst I was brought up to believe the only stupid question was the one you don't ask, it seems no on MSE Forums....
Being new to this forum it was only a simple question. Don't think I'll ask any more...
Ps thanks shinytop for the non judgmental answer.0 -
Sometimes the best advice isn't the one you want to hear, though.
Generally, the best advice for any kind of borrowing is "don't".
