Logitech lx501

Went looking today for a replacement keyboard and headed into currys and found the logitech lx501 on the shelf for £29.98 when i know pc world are selling for £60 in store and £35 ish web so i grabbed it and went to pay and it scanned at £19.98 which is great considering the one i returned to pc world they refunded me the full price instead of the web price but that was 3 keyboards going back so i gained £15 so all in all my nice new wireless keyboard and mouse only cost me £5 and 3 trips to pc world

logitech 501 from amazon

And to add i had the logitech lx700 to start with and to be honest i find the lx501 much better and easier to use, the shortcuts are where i want them not like the lx700 where i had to pre programe a page to open internet.

Great Find - gk172. I picked one up at £19.98. It was priced at £29.98.

    The contents are:

    Cordless Keyboard
    Optical Mouse
    R/F USB/PS2 receiver
    USB to PS2 adaptor
    4 AA Duracell batteries

Use the amazon link to see the details. It is exactly what it says on Amazon - but at £19.98 instead of £42.

Yes the mouse is compact and not too big, all in all a good keyboard and mouse combination;)

Also forgot to add the mouse and keyboard both take 2 AA batteries so no need for the charger cable and this keyboard/mouse has the onscreen battery checker and will let you know when needs replacing.

That was the biggest drawback to the two cordless keyboard/mouse sets I used - batteries kept running out
Thanks to all who post constructively.

Just found it cheaper with Dixons! Only 1p but nothing on your conscience. Admittedly not in stock at the mo.

Check this link and tell me if it is the same.computer_p2.gif

Yes its the same one so possibly can be got from dixons stores too, worth a look if you have one close by.

Also just realised that the scroll on the mouse scrolls sideways too:p Im liking this keyboard more each day.

Thanks for this OP! I went to Currys on the Seland Retail Park in Chester and bagged it for £19.99. It was tagged up at that price, so there was no questionning at all :D

I really do like the keyboard....very....erm...sumptuous! (Sorry to have to use that word when describing a keyboard; I'm just a passionate kinda guy......only about technology of course!)

:( I can't find it anywhere down my way, the south west. Anyone know where else I could try?
