That's what I thought. They are selling it on the understanding we train now for when it all starts up again so we are  ready To start booking and if we don't earn what we have paid out in a year they will give back everything apart from any commission earned. To good to be true🤨🤨

I don't understand the good part in the first instance? Let alone why its too good to be true...
    Paying for the training?

Pretty sure a girl I know is doing this. Message out of the blue after years of nothing to tell me about ‘her’ amazing ‘travel business.’

don’t do it. You’ll lose money and you’ll alienate your friends.

Don't want to do it to recruit but its looking like this is what you have to do......how can they get away with saying you get your money back after a year if you don't earn commission more than what you have put in? If it didn't work out? Any solicitors on here that have heard of them?

Is this the company, or one similar that is all over Facebook with desperate agents telling you to join up for an amazing travel industry position where you can work from home? If so the amount of ‘agents’ touting to sign people up rather suggests this is in some ways an MLM - as I can’t imagine a competitive industry desperately trying to sign up other people to compete with them.

I would be extremely wary of any such advert

Edit they do state here that they are not a pyramid scheme , although they do pay agents to sign up new recruits rather than to sell holidays

It's OK, I found it, in order to claim after 1 year of you haven't made your money back the requirements are -

To ensure that you have made a reasonable and sincere effort to conduct a successful travel business, you must meet all of the following simple fairness criteria to submit a valid Profit Guarantee request:

    1.  You must have completed the required InteleTravel.com basic training course (complimentary) in your first 90 days from enrollment.
    2. You must have attended at least 4 free InteleTravel.com training webinars in your first year.
    3. You must have sold at least one cruise or holiday package through an InteleTravel.com preferred partner (see current Preferred Partner Directory) that has sailed, or has been paid in full and is nonrefundable, in your first year.
    4. You must have made at least one hotel room night reservation with a completed stay, per quarter in your first year.
    5. You must have created your free InteleTravel.com website in your first 90 days and maintain the live-status publishing of it for your entire first year.
    6. You must have purchased and received InteleTravel.com business cards in your first 90 days.
    7. You must have completed at least one free specialist course with an InteleTravel.com preferred partner (see Preferred Partner Directory) in your first 90 days.
    8. Applies to your first year as an InteleTravel.com Advisor only, and only to enrollment fees and monthly access fees actually paid to InteleTravel.com. Your request for Profit Guarantee must be made in writing within 30 days after the one year anniversary of your enrollment. You must have completed one full year of valid advisor status with InteleTravel.com, and been in good standing (no payment failures or credit hold or inactive status; no violations of your IC Agreement or other rules) during that entire period and at the time of your request.
    9. Only one claim is allowed per Advisor
No way would I be going near that

I agree, not with a barge pole. So in a time where people are worried about travel, and where travel companies are going bust in order to claim under the guarantee you would have needed to have booked at least one non refundable cruise!  You are also required to have sold a hotel room stay every quarter that has gone ahead, despite being in lockdown..hmm.

OP apart from your post on here what other research have you actually done? I assume you read the money back guarantee terms, did they not worry you at all?
