Platform mortgage extension

Hi,
We were due to complete on our new build In January, however this has now been delayed. Has anyone had any experiences extending their mortgage offer with platform recently? And if so how long did the process take.

I’m currently doing this as an issue at the top of the chain stopped us from completing. Did it take long for them to give you a decision?

Hi Both, so had this with my buyers..we were due to exchange Friday but didn’t happen and buyers offer expired. The Sol spoke to Platform who agreed to give a 5 day grace period to allow us to exchange and complete. If we didn't complete then it would have to be a new mortgage check for the extension.
