I have a loan with Swift Finance and wonder if anyone else has had dealings with them.  I have tried to get a settlement deal but it is no better than what I will be paying over the full term of the loan.  I took out a loan with them for £12k out in 2008 and will have paid £40K+ by the end of the predicted term which is 2032.  I have tried The Ombudesman but as the original loan was taken out over 6 years ago there is nothing they can do.
I just wondered if anyone had any experience of Swift and have been able to shorten the term or get a settlement fee, as it's an obscene interest rate and loan which I'm now trying to sort and get on top of.

What is the exact terms and what does it say in your contract regarding early settlement?

Is it a regulated loan?
