Postal tv comp entries

Hi, I just want to ask people's  opinion regarding postal entries for tv comps where you can also ring or email. Do you believe that postal entries REALLY do get entered. I read recently that for a while some had not been included. Has anyoneever won a major comp this way? 

I'm using my phone to post this, but I'm hopless so I hope I've managed to post this.

There is some controversy regarding postcards not being entered in certain competitions.

That was a tiny fraction of postal entries - probably more chance of an entry being delivered late or misdelivered than not counted by ITV
