Santander and Mortgages for people with Payday loans

Been with Santander for 10 years and never missed a payment other than having a 4 month mortgage holiday last year because I was furloughed. Just in the process of going for a house, passed stages one and two, had a credit check done and passed no probs as my credit score is excellent on all 3 major credit agencies. My wifes credit is excellent too. 
However, I have around a dozen payday loans showing between 2017 and 2019 on my credit file and am very concerned that Santander are going to look at these and decline.
We have more than enough incomings to cope with expenditure, loads spare, nearly 2k spare each month. 
Should I be prepared for rejection from Santander? My wife has no idea about the old loans either so will be very unhappy if we're declined and finds out why. :-( 
Are there any other providers out there that won't penalise us for this?

@woowar99 Hard to comment on your Santander chances without the full picture.

But generally speaking, if your payday loans are in the past (no current ones), more than 12 months old and were conducted well, and the rest of your credit history is clean, you should have options available.

All fine, nearly done and dusted. Valuation set up, all seems fine. This will be a BTL so hopefully all goes smoothly.
