Video to DVD

Hi,

Im looking to convert a video to DVD as an xmas present. Typed it in google but there are LOADS! Can anyone recommend somewhere that they have used!?

b) Once downloaded and installed, open NERO VISION

c) Add video files

d) Play about with the menu (maybe add an image relating to the video)

e) Convert and burn

f) Happy christmas

If you want to do it yourself these were the instructions I was given

Simply run a SCART lead from the VHS recorder to the input SCART socket on my hard disk/DVD recorder, pressed play on the VHS and record on the DVD. You should be able to record direct to DVD but it might be safer to record to hard disk and then to DVD in case of any problems, and then you can edit if required, and burn more than one DVD. The TV does not need to be on.
