What does the original scheme documentation say - for example, does it ask you which funds you'd like to invest in and list the funds? That could help identify the scheme.
Claybrook Computing, now I believe Equiniti - Again was recommended a few companies to check with but no luck with them.
Claybrook (yes the one someone listed above) - 2006 - 20100 -
Update from the pensions advice people - only options are what I've tried already. HMRC probably won't have details other than the amount.0

A bit of an 'out there' suggestion but could you find people on LinkedIn who worked at these places the same time as you? Then you could message and ask them what the pension providers were. You might get no responses but I'd happily help someone who messaged me.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

In 2008, Claybrook operated a company defined contribution scheme, the name of which was the Xafinity Pension Scheme. I think this may have become part of the National Pension Trust: https://www.nationalpensiontrust.com/national-pension-trust. If you've not already tried them, either give them a call at the number shown at the bottom of that page, or (better) e-mail them: [email protected]
Be aware that XPS are a massive operation administering and advising on very many pension schemes, so you need to give precise information to best help them to help you: full name, current and previous addresses, telephone number, DOB, NI number, the fact you were employed by Claybrook Computing Ltd from 2006-10 and that you were a member of the Xafinity Pension Scheme during that period. Please let me know if that works - although you may have to wait a while for a response, for obvious reasons.
You don't by any miracle remember the precise name of O'Rourke while you were working there, do you? There were lots of them: O'R South, O'R North etc!

Thanks everyone for your help. The Bridge Place address is where I used to work and I've already tried speaking to people there.
Spoke to XPS and no records but they did mention Hogg Robinson which I'm fairly sure was the name of the scheme from Claybrook. There are some details on the pension tracing system for Hogg Group which I will try.0 -
You mentioned in your previous thread that your state pension forecast showed a COPE.
This indicates a contracted out scheme.
Have you tried checking with HMRC if this relates to either of the periods in question?
See Dairy Queen's post here
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5819467/sp-forecast-not-adding-up/p5I thought I would give this thread a boost as an illustration of how important it is to check the fine detail of your SP forecast.
I finally received a letter from HMRC. It summarises the outcome of their investigation into the records they held of my NI payments/credits, and contracted-in/out history, as at June 2016.
