Porting mortgage and partners LISA Scotland

Hi there I wonder if you can help. I own a property and I am 1.5 years into a 5 year fixed rate. The mortgage is portable. My partner and I are looking to buy together. We’ve found a property and know he can buy into my ported mortgage. What we don’t know is can he use his LISA and still get the benefit? He is a first time buyer and we would be moving house. We really need his funds to secure the house we’ve seen. Any help would be greatly received.
