Mould and Mildew remover

Can anyone recommend a good mould and mildew remover. I know there are lots on the market at a wide range of prices but Iv'e tried a couple that have been more or less useless.
Its mainly round my windows which have been affected by condensation and there are marks on the silicon seals and also around the seals on the shower. Ive just moved house and the house has been empty for almost 12 months. We will be having new windows installed in the late spring but I would like to remove the marks for now.

I've always found HG Mould Remover to be very effective. I'm a landlord and have regularly had to get rid of mould after tenants have moved out.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1

Thank you, I will try it.1

Astonish mould remover works quite well too, and is readily available. Sorted out a spot on some sealant a treat.

I've used various brands in the past but always found HG to be the best. However, I've recently tried the newish and much cheaper Astonish mould remover and it works just as well as HG for removing mould. Time will tell if it keeps the mould away for as long as HG (one HG treatment seems to last for months).2022. 2% MF challenge. £730/30001

Our shower head had lots of black mould on the rubber and all I had in the bathroom was ecover loo cleaner and it worked brilliantly. All that clutter used to be money0

Thank you all for the replies. I went out and got some of the HG and cant believe how quickly and easily it sorted it. I almost found myself wandering round the house trying to find some more patches so I could use it again. Its brilliant.1

Hi Swingaloo. Did it remove the black on the window silicone? We have a problem with damp around the bay window in our bedroom. The only room in the house. And yes, we open the windows every day, use a window vacuum (removes 500mls water each day) and still have black on the silicone.0

Hi, Yes it did. Im the same, have the windows open at night when we are in bed, I use a de-humidifier and bought a Karcher window vac a few weeks ago.Proofread100 said:Hi Swingaloo. Im astounded by how well it has worked and no elbow grease needed at all. Last night we were in the kitchen washing up after tea and I noticed a patch I had missed which I hadnt seen because it was concealed at the back of the roller blind. I sprayed some on it and told my husband to watch (as he hadnt seen it in action!) and it literally dissapeared within 2 or 3 minutes without me touching it. Then I just wiped over with a bit of kitchen roll. I felt like Paul Daniels, lol.
It really does do the job.1 -
Fantastic. Thank you. I have a credit note for B&Q so will grab some if/when it opens.0
