@RobM99 my wife is a nightmare for the bags etc. Before anyone asks she doesn't work so it's not like she's earned the money to buy the thing in the first place. I used to buy this stuff for her regularly, can't do it anymore not the life I want to live I've been in over 6 figures of card debt in the past and not the life I want to live again.4 -

Good morning everyone.
I am 13/21 for yesterday please cathybird. Thank you. XArkers thats lovely news about your new family member. 🐾 XWanna_Bee_Free well done👏
I have to admit alt80 that I do have a bag in that sort of price range ☺️ but it was a significant milestone birthday and I bought it myself. My other bags (only two of them) are much more modest. X4 -
Better spending £1,750 on a bag than shovelling it up your nose.3

Lots of positive news on here today including your new dog arkers. 😊
Perhaps if any one of us totted up what we're saving on booze through the thread we could have one of those bags each very soon! 🤣

15 for me today. Not having a drink this evening need to keep off.The chocolate/ munchies thing after having a drink yeah can relate to that 100%. Def keeping away from alcohol for the moment.
She’s got a lot of this type of stuff. Mad for the clothes/ shoes/ bags/ beauty. Tbh I’ve indulged it for years. @Barny1979you’re right mate tbf I also need to sort my debts out. Cards aren’t too horrendous now but I need to meet some 0% deadlines and I’ve got a £48.5k balloon payment for my car to find in 3 years from now. Woke up to needing to live a bit smaller than I have been doing, set quite a strict budget which I’m keeping to and I’ve not touched coke for 56 days. Half the time she’s onboard the rest of the time she’s not. I don’t blame her I’ve not really been the best husband over the years just really hard now I’ve decided I’m sorting myself out putting business and my family first. Business always been my number 1 priority but family never been at number 2 so probably my own fault really.5 -

Just batting ideas around, maybe if your wife sold a few of her older designer bags then it would cover the cost (or part cost) of a new one. Maybe if the credit cards are in your name, once the debt is cleared, actually close the card down so that there isn't a lot of credit available sitting on a card tempting her or you. Other than that maybe she has been through a lot with your addiction and she just feels like she deserves it... maybe just let it go this time xx2021 AFDs
