Poor cat, ours was struggling too on Monday and Tuesday, I have got a big industrial fan that she lay down in front of and shared with me for a few hours when it got really unbearably hot. I do feel for animals in this weather, there was an upsetting story in local news yesterday about how some idiot left 10 very young puppies in a van that were being imported from the continent, this was on Tuesday, the ferry crossing was delayed for several hours and it was only by chance some other passengers heard the dogs in distress and got them out, poor things had suffered badly and three of them were described as “more or less dead”, no doubt the imbecile bringing them over was cooling off with a cold drink somewhere while this was all going on…🤬🤬Coveredinbees!!!! said:Still on 15 after having a drink last night after work. Slot cutting again, got rained on but it was still hot as hell. I got in around midnight to find the cat spread out on the kitchen floor trying to stay cool, poor moggy wasn't happy. I don't think she slept well last night as she was asleep most of today.
