4/27 for me please.

I had my postponed Mother's Day visit from eldest son yesterday, and we went for a lovely walk over the sand dunes. He had a lucky escape with an electrical fire at home last week, and has been scrubbing walls since then. He had an angel looking after him, because he should have been out that day, but I can't believe the stupidity of an overloaded extension lead, no smoke alarm and no contents insurance --- he's been thoroughly told off, hugged and smoke alarms ordered. 

Check your smoke alarms folks, and unplug those chargers!

@Satchmo,  that must have been scary for your son. Extensions on extension leads, reminds me of student houses in the 1980s. 
All well hers, out of tissues but fortunately have loads of loo roll.  No booze today because I ain't going out and never keep a stash in the house.
