Another one declaring early for 10/19 please. I am also grateful for everyone's posts on this thread and our marvellous Cathybird keeping us on course. Thank you all for another month here.
Allnightdiner so sorry to hear you don't sleep well. You made me laugh about your cat, I miss having a cat but OH is allergic so no can do. Hopefully more time AF will help your sleep. I'm not sure I have real worries, my thoughts just seem to make more of a meal out of everything. I especially find lack of sleep feeds my negative thoughts and can spiral badly like it has the last few weeks. Yesterday I felt so much better after just one decent night.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable Wednesday.4 -
Declaring early for today, Wednesday and also achieved an AF day yesterday so 14/15 please.I won't be AF tomorrow as going to a celebration meal. I haven't achieved target due to a poor start to the month and being away too but fairly close. In April i must stick to my self imposed rule of no alcohol on a school night and not succumb to s*d it nights when I end up opening a bottle of wine then. 🤞2

I shouldn’t have any trouble getting through today so making an early commitment of 30. I try to read everyone’s posts and think @Cathybird does a wonderful job on here; thank you.
I don’t generally sleep well, it has got better since I have been in recovery, not from drinking for the newbies and whilst I did drink too much it was accompanied so I can’t say whether drinking directly affected my poor amount and poor quality of sleep tbf. Recently I have either been sleeping too little or been sleeping too much would have once said that’s a nice problem to have but also stems from poor mental health and I’m still exhausted. I too have problems with my thoughts making a meal out of everything and whilst no direct connection to Ukraine I have found what is happening very unsettling and tbh I don’t think it would have even crossed my mind this time last year in addiction tbh I was really !!!!!! selfish. Sleeping problems 100% fuel negative thoughts in my case so you’re definitely not alone @AllNightDiner / @Wanna_Bee_Free4 -

AllNightDiner said:Morning all, declaring early for tonight to ensure I reach my target, so 14/14 for me please.I am grateful for this group (especially @cathybird) for helping me to build towards life with lots of AF days in it.Wish it helped me sleep better though - unlike @Wanna_Bee_Free, with proper worries keeping them up, last night I had the cat having a bath near my ear5
