The calander in the kitchen says I'm on 12 AF day. Had a few drinks last night and woke up with a hangover, I didn't drink that much but I suppose drinking less has lowered my tolerance to alcohol.

Just checking in still on hol but +5 AF days including today. Total of 17 days. Irony is I’m waiting up for my Mrs who’s gone out into town haha.

I can’t really believe I’ve managed this, not waking up hungover can enjoy daytimes with my family, not falling out with my family and no one trying to persuade me to drink. I’ve been honest about sometimes I used to drink far too much and I need to really moderate what I do drink when I drink because it leads to worse things for me. Want to say to anyone struggling it can get better I’m 142 days off the other stuff and been on the recovery journey a while. I kept relapsing and now had a really good run - please keep with it if you’re struggling with substances, recovery is possible.
