15/30 for me Cathybird
Not a good evening tonight. I went to put the bins out and there was a car at the side of the road with doors open and two young couples standing on the grass verge.
They had hit and killed a cat.
They didn't just drive off and leave it, the called me over and asked me if I knew its owner.
I thought it was a stray we feed every day but when we got it inside we realised it wasn't.
It's now in a box in the fridge,( the fridge in the shed, not the main fridge).
Hopefully we can locate his owner and hand him over tomorrow.
I feel sad tonight.

9/15 for me thanks, notice the tree out the front of our house has shed all it's leaves already then noticed September is half gone already.
Nothing to see here, move along.4 -
That is very sad Lupus_lou but very kind of you to take the poor thing in. I know if it was my cat I would want to know what happened - it is awful when they just disappear 😢3

How kind of you Lupus_Lou, I hope the owner can be found. As others have said it is awful not knowing.
I am 15/21 for yesterday please cathybird. Thank you. X3 -

I need to find a different reward system to unwind, take a break or celebrate. I need to stop using it as this connection or yearning for the pre-kids life, that's just two examples.
This weekend is our anniversary weekend so I'm declaring today day 8 and this weekend I'll probably drink at least one dayDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/254 -
11/25 AFDs today3

I've posted similar before so skip this if you've read it !
We're all motivated by different things so here's my list.
1. Costs money. Obviously and that money can be better spent elsewhere or saved for something specific. (I'm saving £5 per AFD towards a convertible car!)
2. Does you no good.
3. No nutritional value at all
4. High calorie content. Those pounds never go where you want - if you want!
5. People do and/or say things that are out of character when sober. Who has never sent a drunken text?!
6. It doesn't make problems go away. Next day you feel awful, are dehydrated, £20 (or however much) worse off and the problem is still there.
So all in all, it's a pretty pointless thing to do!
Anyway it's 16/29 and 164 AFDs in a row!
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!6 -

I wish I had your fortitude Rob (I also wish I could spell for fortitude without googling it).
