I didn’t get through to drink line in the end. Gave up.

    8/18 for me please.
Live for the moment and plan for the future
  • I wont be drinking now as it's nearly bedtime and well, Monday. That makes 12/12, even had 1 birthday BBQ this month already.
Nothing to see here, move along.

    Newcomers welcome! :)
  • Welcome back Satchmo and congratulations on getting to target first this month Coveredinbees. CuppaTea so sorry to hear you had problems getting through to Drinkline. Rob, well done for staying on the lime and soda!

Smooth sailing last night apart from getting to sleep was a bit trickier without the sedative effect of the booze. Feeling bright and reasonably chipper and ready for another one today.

    2/14 please Cathybird.

    Hi all, 17/28 for me.

Sometimes I miss the taste of a decent beer, the alc' free ones I've tried so far seem too malty or watery but I really don't want the effect anymore. I watch some TV programmes (Police ones) and see bunches of boozed-up idiots getting into fights and worse, makes me think they're just brainless idiots! Now, I'm not condemning a glass of wine with dinner (not for me these days, obviously) though. Ah well, that's my rant over. Time for tea!
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!

Shame you couldn't get through to that helpline @CuppaTea but you're still managing AFDs so well done!

I prefer a lowish sort of floor target @pollyanna24. I'm pleased when I achieve it and then even more pleased if I get extra 'bonus' days. It works for me.😊

    10/10 AFDs please Cathy

1/14 for yesterday, please. Lots of tea, marmite, fizzy water last night.

Me and OH have agreed we shouldn't drink at home - and as we rarely go out, that'll work. We have said "except for special occasions", as it's our Anniversary next month.

I put on a stone since the beginning of the first lockdown, partly through increased wine intake, partly because I fell really badly whilst out for a run in April last year and haven't been able to run since, and partly because I've been diagnosed with a blood cancer (polycythemia vera, an excess of red blood cells) which was possibly triggered by the fall and one of the symptoms is fatigue.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
