Good morning.
I am 12/21 for yesterday please cathybird. Thank you. XI am meeting a group of old friends for an (extended) lunch today; the first time since January 2020. These get togethers have traditionally been quite boozy affairs and so today is a planned drinking day if I want it to be 🤔. We are meeting in London where most of them still live but I have a longish train journey. These days I can only have a couple of drinks before I really start to feel it and I don't want to be that tipsy woman on the train who falls asleep and misses her stop 😕. So, my alternatives are have two glasses of wine and then dutifully switch to fizzy water, drink all afternoon and hang the consequences or not drink alcohol and enjoy myself watching usually respectable elderly ladies getting silly 🤪. My feeling is that once the bottles of wine start arriving at the table, if I'm drinking I won't stick to two glasses so it will be more sensible if I find out what AF options the pub has. Watch this space 😬.3 -

It'd make a fun read on a Sunday though! "I meant to get off in Aberdeen and ended up in Torquay!"Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!4 -
