Just a warning not to assume things are cheaper in bargain shops. I bought the Baby Yoda toy on impulse for £24.99 while I was Christmas shopping in B&M and now I’ve checked both Amazon and the Entertainer have it for £19.99. I’m passing B&M on Friday so I’ll be taking it back. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :6

@Peppapig - Before leaving for drama school DD was working in poundstretcher and said same thing, people bought there because they assumed it would be cheaper and it wasn't always the case.5 -
Glad I have done most of my Christmas shopping
Positive covid lateral flow test this morning and fully expecting the follow up PCR to be positive too so gearing myself up for ten days isolation.
This is despite being double jabbed and having a positive test only 4 months ago. Thoroughly fed up.

@StokieBecks - Oh no, poor you! If your PCR does come back as positive, hopefully the jabs will have stopped you becoming too unwell. Fingers crossed for you!

I keep running out of money
Glad I started early! Really so pleased with all my gift choices this year, haven’t really had to think hard for anyone. There is nothing that will be wasted and they are all fairly eco conscious. I also haven’t spent loads so feeling very happy
I do need to buy for my OH but he will be once everyone else is finished, and will only cost me a couple of £££ - he’s probably the person I know least what to buy for. Will have to have a think there!6 -
As expected my pcr came back positive
Second positive in 4 months so feeling very sorry for myself (I am a rubbish patient anyway haha) - I am ok once I get my head in the right mindframe. Currently feel like I have a cold.
Once my isolation finishes I need one more gift for my brother and one more for hubby and I *think* I am done£2 Savers Club for 2022 #127 -
stokiebecks sorry to see you’ve tested positive again. It’s a good reminder to keep wearing masks, social distancing and hand cleaning. I must admit, I’ve been quite lax with wearing my mask recently. Mainly because my seeing fewer people wearing them in shops now.

Storkiebecks wow that sucks glad you're symptoms aren't too bad.
spendless sorry to hear about dd's phone unexpected expenses right on top of xmas are a real pain
had a mixed day shopping today went to the outlets which was rubbish no offers at all and prices were higher than online so came away empty handed but found some good stuff elsewhere picked up large red velvety xmas sacks with initials on £3.99 each managed to get one for each of the kids in homebargains also got a large red bow & some pinecones for the xmas wreath I'm planning to make. Picked up led xmas snowflake lights in B&M smaller indoor one was £4 larger outdoors one was £12 bargain compared to elsewhere and surprisingly good. Tesco have 25% off disney xmas stuff so picked up a load of stuff including some disney xmas crackers so tha'ts another thing ticked off the list. They also have some clubcard prices on sweets - cadburys selection packs are £1 and they also had an areo 4 pack selection box for £2.50 so picked that up for dd great value as its the big bars which are £1 each. Freddo xmas crackers 4 packs are on offer for £3 which is the cheapest I've seen.
finally popped to costco where I picked up a lovely beef joint & a large piece of gammon which I'm going to freeze ready for xmas also picked a flavoured vodka gift set for £35 the vodka alone is £30 plus elsewhere.
ordered some mandalorian slippers for Taz and a dress for gdd that I had been watching from H&M as they have 15% via the app today -
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk5 -

Mandco - i could really do with a Tesco trip once my isolation finishes. Hopefully there will still be some good offers on. Sorry the outlets wdre unproductive but sounds like you got good deals elsewhere so not a complete wasted trip.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #127
