Paypal.com Account Changes

I recently bought a white good using PayPal credit, 0%. I also got a discount from Samsung for buying it this way. Now PayPal are altering all accounts and say I have no choice but to accept, or close the account before tomorrow ( this would mean paying off the balance of the credit,  and being post Christmas and covid would take a few days).  Can they FORCE the acceptance and what's the alternative.

This is the key point. PayPal emailed out their updated terms email as have with many other companies affected by Brexit in terms of how the choose to operate.

Upshot is yes that can close your account if you don't accept their terms. It's likely that on the agreement you signed it would have covered Amendments. The alternative is to accept them.

They have very helpful customer services and I believe an upgraded complaints process if you choose to use it.
