I have a DMP since 2016, 7k, 7k remaining
I have bipolar 1 and pay £1 token payments. Sometimes I don’t pay. I have defaults etc
my sister wants to pay 4 debts off to help me. I suspect this is not allowed? Will payplan throw me off my plan? It’s tempting to accept her help and have fewer creditors and the amount is only £220.

Hi,
I have 14 creditors since 2016, paying £1 mostly through Payplan. I have Bipolar type 1 and don’t remember taking out half these debts. I probably did but I want to CCA them. Is that fair? Are there any template letters on here?0 -
Are you under the care of a regular healthcare professional? There is a letter you can ask them to complete which is in turn sent to your creditors. I had this and managed to have a few debts stopped but this show as unpaid on my file. It lightened the load a lot for myself.
I used details from the national debit line page which has an area dedicated to debt and mental health.0
