Why don't you do 4 on 4 off all the time. It will then progress through the week for both so each gets the same amount of time and weekends off.
  • I used to do 4 on 4 off when I was a support worker, was so much easier.

What does the other person want?
  • They want every other weekend off but when I try to plan the 4 on 4 off with just the two of us I can’t seem to get it to work out equal either one of us is working most of the weekends over the months when I try to plan it out
  • I work 48 hours a week and the other person works 36 hours a week and when I try and change it on my calendar each month I’m loosing days

I don't see how you can ever get both of you having every other weekend off if you work more hours than they do, unless you move away from 4 on 4 off. But I'm no expert and there might be an obvious answer.

If this is 7/52 then you can't do it with 2 people doing 7 shift between them as there is no holiday cover.
I don't  think you can do it with 4on cycles.
if you start by allocating one Sat/Sun for alternate weekends off then see what fits round that
staring on a Monday with B  doing  3 sets of 2
    BBAAABBAAABBAA
or to give b a 3 day weekend
    BBAAABBAABBAAA
if you change to 5&3 you can do
    BBAAABBBBAAAAA

So what does happen for holidays or sickness? Might be worth seeing if there's scope for a 3rd person.
