Gift cards

Options
Can we please let retailers and the general public know that you can not pay (generally India) pay any debt by gift cards, Place a warning at the point of sale of these gift cards. Out of boredom over Christmas, I bought 5 cards at £500 (£2500) each knowing I didn't have the funds, but the person never asked my why? Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury's, They will sell and no questions. Staff need training to ask why?
You Martin was the first person I thought of. Please help these (generally the elderly) avoid this scam.

If you didn't have the funds - you wouldn't be able to purchase the cards unless you used a credit card in which case you effectively did have the funds

What are you planning on spending them on now you've bought them ?

Or did you really fall for their scam ?

p.s. Martin doesn't read these fora
