£1200 left

Hi,
So Im likely to be able to kill this off at the end of next month.
As far as I know with Halifax Im on their SVR deal @ 3.59 so no ERC?
How does this work then, how do I do the final settlement figure? or if I have just a bit left feb 1st which is less than the normal monthly payment, do they just take the balance then it closes?
Not sure what to expect or if I need to do anything.
Just be glad to see the back of it :-)

Call them for a redemption statement for the date you wish to repay. They will confirm the precise payment amount including any ERC and any other charges due and this will take into account any due direct debts. I’m with Nationwide and got a redemption statement quickly via their online chat. Not sure if Halifax have that.

Looks like you’ll have to wait until Tuesday to speak to somebody. Mortgage team appear to be closed on bank holidays.
